Vintage Hewlett Packard HP-25 Scientific Calculator Computer With Accessories

Description

Dang those alkaline batteries, and my neglect to follow instructions about removing them.
But here we are with damaged battery contacts.
And a functional hp25, as evidenced by display of today's date 0701.2021 in a photo taken today.
Critical: The hp25 needs batteries in it when running on the AC charger in order to prevent damage due to over voltage.
The batteries are part of the voltage regulator. A return will not be accepted due to damage by over voltage.
The photo with date was taken with power supplied by a regulated power supply, seen in the photo.
In the package is an hp AC charger, a battery charging port and a third party battery. The charger is functional and capable of charging the provided battery in the charging port. The charging port contacts also have some damage but did work.
The package also included the original soft case, HP25 Owner's Handbook, HP25 Applications Programs, and the HP-25 Quick Reference Guide in compact format that fits in the soft case. The spiral bound manuals are in very good condition.

What I called a charging port is more properly referred to as the battery charger in concert with the AC supply.
And photo of the included battery pack. I recently purchased from noius and labeled Woodstock Refurbished.
This battery has been charged in the battery charger.
