Description
Platinum Tools® 706WH-1 EZ-SnapJack™ for Cat6 Keystone Jack, White (each)Platinum Tools’ 706WH-1 patented EZ-SnapJack™ for Cat5e is self-terminating and quickly installs for professional results in a snap. You may never again need a punchdown tool – at least for your wall jacks! With the reusable EZ-SnapJack™ you can repair damaged jacks on the spot. Save time--no need for eight punch downs. The wire guide ensures pairs stay in proper order for fast, easy termination.
Fast and Easy
With the SnapJack™, fewer tools and components are required. Less room is needed for storage in the tool belt, and it takes less time to complete the termination. Simply prep the cable, insert the wire guide, and snap the jack together. In the case of the SnapJack™, less is definitely more!
ZizerBar™
Using Cat6 with EZ-SnapJack™? The new ZizerBar™ re-sizes the cable opening to support smaller Cat6 diameter cable as well as Cat5e cable. The Zbar is inserted into the SnapJack™ before termination to reduce the size of the opening and ensure a snug fit.
It’s a “Snap!”
It’s not called the SnapJack™ for nothing! In addition to “snapping” securely shut, the SnapJack™ “snaps” the terminated jack into the backside of wall plates. It is compatible with industry standard wall plates, and can be removed with gentle pressure from a flathead screwdriver. The SnapJack™ itself is reusable and is also removed from the cable via a flathead screwdriver. The SnapJack™ is available in a variety of colors and models for both Cat5e and Cat6
