ade in Italy by Kartell.
This classic of Italian design by Giotto Stoppino for Kartell is a four-pocket Magazine Rack, featuring a central interior handle for ease of lifting. The shape is essential and decidedly practical. It is a beautiful object which can be slotted into any domestic or professional setting. The Stoppino Magazine Rack is memorable part of the history of Kartell. This model is in translucent light orange, mid-1990s production. As far as I can tell, this color does not appear to be in production any longer. This particular rack was only used very lightly and is in fine condition, with no discernible scratches, pits, or imperfections. Suitable for indoor/outdoor use.
Kartell has been a leader in modern Italian design for decades, and their collection is recognizable for its colors, shapes and playfulness. And, of course, for its predominant material: plastic (PMMA). Kartell has developed many advancements in plastics, including improved transparency, softness, flexibility and durability. As with all its designs, Kartell charms with a little irony and a lot of innovation.
