Japanese sword with rayskin /sharkskin koshirae wakizashi

Description

wakizashi sword, the blade with all the parts removed measures 18 1/8" long.  this was purchased from ebay in 2006, the original photocopied ebay ad is included. these details are from the original ad-  wakizashi, no inscription. has a koshirae, and sword bag. both nakago and blade look old, genuine and in the edo period (1603-1867)  the condition of the blade is old sharpened, there is a flaw about .05" in front of the habaki. the koshirae is covered in sharkskin. (looks more like rayskin to me though). total length about 22", blade length about 13.5", curvature about 0.3", width (moto-haba) 1.1".  there is a few winds of tape under the front fuchi probably to make it fit tighter.
