    Description

    This darling antique plush mohair monkey perfume bottle figure is about 5" tall and he was made by the Schuco Co.(Germany). His hands, ears, and feet are felt and I believe his eyes are celluloid. The monkey is beautifully formed with jointed arms and legs and you remove his head to access the top of the perfume bottle. The perfume bottle has a glass stopper with applicator stem and it is all original to the piece. There is some wear and missing mohair but over all the monkey perfume is in good original condition. There is a gap between his head and body in the back left due to some missing plush and shrinkage but the monkey still displays very well. Ca. 1920. Rare!
