Marked STERLING on the bottom. A similar one sold on eBay recently—they identified it as German made.
Excellent antique condition with a deep natural patina, some marks in the silver's surface and the lingering scent of the remains of whatever old actual perfume strength liquid was inside, like Shalimar, Joy or Ch

top
for just a minute for photos left the potent scent on my fingers.
Screws closed and seals tightly.
